The SM 360 Degree View Module – avails the admin to show their customers 360 views of a product. It allows the customers to have a more alluring and magnificent view of the products by integrating multiple images in a proper sequence.

The admin can establish a 360-degree view of a product. This extension provides a full view of the product from every possible angle which also enriches the product look.

This guide will help you install SM 360 Degree View Module.

1COMPATIBLE WITH MAGENTO

This module is fully compatible with Magento Community Edition version 2.4.x.

2REQUIREMENT

To install this module you must have a working version of Magento already installed. If you need help installing Magento, follow below sites and tutorials from magento.com, hope everything that you need are there.

3INSTALLATION

    Note that: Backup magento files and the store database. It’s very important to backup all of themes and extensions in Magento before installation, especially when you are working on a live server. We strongly recommend you to do not omit this step.

  • Step 1: Download and extract the extension’s package on your computer and navigate inside the folder.
  • Step 2: Upload the folder named as app & pub from the package to the root of your Magento site on your server
  • Step 3: To active SM 360 Degree View, go to root of your site using putty or others.
    • 1. Please type the following command into the dialog to active module:

      php bin\magento setup:upgrade

    • 1. Run command to deploy:

      php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f

    • 2. After running successfully the first command, type the following command into the dialog to flush cache on our Magento store

      php bin/magento cache:flush

  • Step 4: Go to Administration page to configure the extension

    • Important Note:

    • After installing extension, you should logout first and then login Admin Panel to ensure all functions work normally.

4CONFIGURATION

4.1 Layout Demo

You could see the appearance of SM 360 Degree View module as following:

4.2 Module Configuration

In the Administrator Page, navigate to Stores -> Settings -> Configuration -> MAGENTECH.COM and find SM 360 Degree View to configure.

Let’s look at the parameter in detail:

4.3 How to upload image into 360 Degree View?

  • Step 1: Go to admin panel >> Catalog >> Categories >> Click on any category >> Content >> Select from Gallery

  • Step 2: Click “Create Folder” button to create a new folder >> After that click “Choose files” button to upload image.

      Note that:

    • Product image only support .jpg format
    • The name of the image must be in text format + ascending number example: shoe1.jpg; shoe2.jpg; shoe3.jpg…The spin will automatically move from the lowest number to the highest number
    • All the image must be the same size

  • Step 3: Go to Catalog >> Product >> Search with product that you want to display 360 Degree View >> Scroll down in “360 Degree” tab

    360 Degree Path: The path you uploaded the image in step 2 (screenshot – )

    Image Index: The name of the image does not include the part number (screenshot – )
    Frame Width/ Height: Default width/ height of frontend 360 Degree View.

  • Step 4: Click “Save” button and refresh the cache.
