SP One Step Checkout extension removes unnecessary steps and makes the checkout process much simpler. The purpose of SP One Step Checkout extension is to gather the information that is needed, and complete the sale as quickly as possible.
This guide will help you install SP One Step Checkout.

 

1COMPATIBLE WITH PRESTASHOP

This module is fully compatible with Prestashop Community Edition version 1.7.x

2REQUIREMENT

To install this module you must have a working version of Prestashop already installed. If you need help installing Prestashop, follow below sites and tutorials from Prestashop.com, hope everything that you need are there.

3 INSTALLATION

  • Firstly, download module and you must install Prestashop version 1.7.x.
  • Secondly, prepare for installing the SP One Step Checkout Module. The installation contains 4 steps as following:

Step 1: Login to your Prestashop admin panel and Go to Improve >> Modules >> Modules Services. At the top of the page, click the Upload a Module button.

Step 2: Click “Select File” to select your module .zip file “spstepcheckout_v1.0.0.zip” that you have downloaded.

Step 3: The uploading process will be started. You will see the message that “Module installed”.

Step 4: Finally, the new module will be located in the modules list. Search the name of module and Click on the Configure button to configure the module.

4.2 Backend

Note:
– We used the images of module’s installtion on Prestashop 1.7.3.x to illustrate.
– This module is not compatible with Stripe module

In the Administrator Page, navigate to Improve -> Modules -> Module Services and find SP One Step Checkout to configure.

Let’s look at the parameter in detail:

GENERAL SETTING

  • Enable Guest Checkout: Allow guest visitors to place an order without registering.
  • Add New Customers To The Group: When a customer registers in your store from the checkout page, this should be recorded in a group of customers. In this option you can set which group the new customer will be added to by default.

    • FIELDS REGISTER

  • Confirmation Email: Choose “Yes” to request confirmation email.
  • Autocomplete from Google: Use address autocomplete from Google. You must add a Google API Key.
  • Config Fields for Customer: You can enable, disable, required and change position the register fields. Decide which fields you want to display in checkout page. This quick checkout module has the functionality to show/hide fields like first name, birthday, email, etc.

    • FIELDS ADDRESS

  • First name and Last name for Delivery: Choose “Yes”, fields: first name, last name in frontend do not show. Use the same first name and last name for the customers delivery address.

    • FIELDS INVOICE

  • Invoice Address: You can enable/disable address usage for Invoicing purpose.
  • First name and Last name for Invoice: Choose “Yes”, fields: first name, last name in frontend do not show. Use the same first name and last name for the customers delivery address.

    • SHIPPING

  • Display Description of Carriers: Show description of carriers
  • Display Image of Carriers: Show image of carriers.
  • Reload Shipping: Reload shipping when changing state.
  • Require a Postal Code: Choose “Yes” to require a postal code to be entered.
  • Require a City: Choose “Yes” to require a city to be entered.

    • REVIEW

  • Display Shopping Cart Before : Enabling this option will display a summary view of the order before going to the checkout page. If this option is disabled, completing a purchase will lead directly to the modules checkout.
  • Terms of service: Require customers to accept or decline terms of service before processing an order.
  • Display “Continue Shopping” link: Choose “Yes” to display “Continue Shopping” link.
  • Custom URL: Enter URL link.
  • Enable Hook shopping cart: Enable Hook shopping cart.
